Belmote, the Surname of Victor & Ola, this cocktail is a homage to the happy couple, who enjoyed sipping bellinis on a hot Summer's day on the coast of Sicily
A match made in the Mediterranean. Victor Belmonte of Sicily wed Ola Marie of Calabria in 1931. As Chef Sheila was a young girl she often spent time with her grandmother Ola cooking in the kitchen. Inspired by her heritage of Southern Italy and a tribute to her grandparents, Sheila wanted to incorporate the dishes she grew up loving with this restaurant concept, Vic & Ola's.
